Rob Cord serves as Partner at Advisors Real Estate Asset Services (“Advisors”). He leads all efforts related to the national operations and expanding the Advisors platform in markets spanning from New York to Los Angeles and Houston to Seattle. Rob is an active California Bureau of real estate Licensed Sales professional in office investment sales and landlord agency.

Cord’s “hands-on” approach of investment sales and asset management yields creative solutions for owners across the country.

Prior to taking the helm at Advisors, Cord was President of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors with 30 offices, 600 professionals and 20 million square feet under management. Cord was Managing Director of Voit Real Estate Management Services overseeing operations of more than 14,000,000 square feet in three southwestern states. He joined Voit from Cassidy Turley where he was Senior Managing Director of Property Management Northern California. In that role, he was responsible for the overall leadership, strategic focus and profitability of the property management division in Northern California with more than 25,000,000 square feet under management.
Cord spent five years at Kennedy Wilson where he was responsible for asset and property management of a national portfolio of mixed use properties totally more than 14,000,000 square feet in his respective regions which included assets in Illinois, Texas, Florida, California and Nevada. During that time, he repositioned commercial real estate investments in office, industrial, retail, business parks and class A office high-rise while assisting in the sourcing and underwriting of properties for the various KW funds.

Cord also has experience as CEO, President and founder of Cord Commercial, Inc. where he specialized in the asset management of commercial property portfolios throughout the Western U.S. Cord served for three years at CB Richard Ellis in Sacramento as Managing Director responsible for overseeing the operations of the region’s largest commercial real estate services firm and has held leadership positions at TRI Commercial Real Estate Services and Grubb & Ellis Company, both in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Cord has been active in commercial real estate investment, fee simple and equity throughout Northern California. Some of the more notable transactions include 1865 Howe Avenue a 190,000 square foot class A suburban office property, 2031-2033 Howe Avenue 109,211 square foot garden office property, 300 California Street a 120,000 square foot office property in San Francisco, 1011 10th street a 32,000 historic corporate headquarters , 621 Capital Mall a 27% equity investment in the 366,000 square foot 24 floor story premiere Sacramento High-rise , and 630 Thomas Berkeley Square, Berkeley a 88 unit luxury apartment and townhome property.

Mr. Cord earned a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from University of California in Davis, is married with two grown children and resides in Loomis California though he enjoys traveling extensively across the country for business.
